The Run:
It was a wonderful & wet day and at the run site was at Gasing Bird Park. Some of our members arrived as early as sharp 4.30pm where it started to rain Cats & Dogs. As for shelter from the rain, they went to Pandi Restaurant (Mamak) and also not forgetting the Teh Tarik too. There were ambled parking spaces at the car park.
Right sharp at 6 pm, ON ON was called by GM, we walk at the sideway of the roadside and then we came to the 1st check. Papers were lost and we took almost 15mins to search for paper but it was a Falsie. On On was called but some have decided to go on their own path. So we entered the trail slowly and steadily we walked up along the trail for almost 15mins up hill through the housing area. Then we found last week paper so we followed. As usual, front runners were eagerly looking for checking as they follow the paper.
Then we come to the river bank and we walk along it, later we came to another hill and approximately close to 20 minutes, we came to 2nd checked, where it was broke by the Front Runners, we continued on the terrain and it was getting tougher and tougher.
Later after the 3rd check we continue to search for the 3rd check but unfortunately we were caught again on the next False See. Lucky enough some smart hashers were familiar with the trail knew that was the way home and immediately 3rd check was found and was a long and tough to search for the paper. Another 15mins of searching we found the paper and the Front Runners like; Ben, Big Mouth Monkey and Yakitiyak started to connect the paper while Wild Boar starts to explore new terrain by following the sound of ON ON.
It was 6.50pm, paper was connected accordingly and all the hashers were running & jogging along the road side. First runner completed the run in 1hr and the last runner completed it in 1 1/2hrs.
Overall, it was a challenging run and I am looking forward for another more adventures and even more challenging runs in the near future. God knows may be next week!
Circle:
Circle started at 9.00pm, as usual, GM on the box with some announcement and jokes. The run was commented by Yak, the run was awarded with 9 points. (Good parking, Delicious Foods were served at Kam Kei Restaurant and damage was RM15/person. Run site was well lighted, good hash sign and the best is The Hare have 8 crates of beers served).
The champion for the week of the “ice ice baby” was not other than “Shit Face” because he claims that his position was appointed instead of elected.
The next one was “Mad Dog” because he requested a refund of RM25 from GM because the run was not perfect.
Bhen Kok & Lucky Cock was iced because they don’t know where it s the location for next week run and Lucky Cock replied Batu Pahat as he was set up by Silent Gorilla, Muahahaha….. The next week run is at Bandar Kinarara, Puchong and the Hare is Hyena.
Mr. World also been iced because he took bribe from Tan Sri to vote for him on GM position. Wow, I also want to be On – Cash, more $$$.
