The Run:
As I realized that my run was approaching near to this unusual run site for Gasing members, for the second time here , I made very certain that I will try to set a reasonable run for all of us.It was just 10 mins to 5 pm, as I arrived , there were already more than 5 cars parked along the way . Of course, early bird was really our lovely lady no other than Early Bird. Just half past five, there were no less than 30 cars. Sharp at 6 pm, flagged off ON ON Called by GM, and of we went in trail for 10 mins walked along the tar road before heading into the actual trail .Up hill all the away, quite texting for most of us except the FRB. Immediately at the top arrived at the 1st check. But rather was a back check and paper was found and everyone got back to the trail.As the journey continued moving along the 4 wheel trail, up and down slope ,no other than GM was struggling for every step he moved with his bloody blotted beer stomach . Out of no way , for once Yak who accompanied his Yak-Yak in the absence of senior couple( Popeye and Olive) was the last couple who decided to follow through the whole journey arrived at the 2nd check point w/o much of the problems.As usual , FR bastards broke the check and plenty of papers were laid along the trail. Even the slowest and inexperience hashers were not have any problems locating the paper as the hare aware that dawn came faster than expected during this time of the year. As we were diverted into the secondary jungle, within couple of mins , we arrived at the 3rd check . It was almost 6 50 pm , most were using their experiences as to wonder where the exactly the paper was in order to find a way out .
Suddenly, Underpower found it, and ON ON was called and we moved together as a group and arrived at the last and final check . It was rather an opened area and FR broke it . Nice of the co-hare, who came in the second time , diverted the slowest group out at the shortest way and of course, the other FR group decided to take the longer way out w/o any obstacles. Finally the 1st batch out at 7.15 and last batch out at 7 40pm. Overall it was indeed a wonderful run with sufficient sweating and burning out calories for all of us. It was nice of the hare who has taken her time off to set such an enjoyable run but the only comment is the that ,hare herself did not go in to set the run. As a result , she will have to appear naked at the run site for next week run.
Circle:
Started at 8 30 pm with presence of about 30-40 of us. Some announcements were made pertaining to the seriousness of Gasing 10th Celebration Run 9(CR)and the Annual Dinner in Dec. All head of the dept involved (CR)- namely 10 dept, mentioned by On Sec were to be present for every meeting in order to make this , once and for all a successful event.
Roger was iced for not producing newsletter in the absence of the most powerful On Sec. But of course, newsletter were sent out thru emails by him. Stupid GM was iced for leading the whole bunch of Gasing members( ~ 20) with no sense of direction after a couple of drink , drove the completely wrong way home after the circle at ULU Yam. He was iced the second time for independently conducting the circle for the Gasing members who turned up at the run site from the rest of chapters by offering only 2 bottles of beers for ON Down for 20 persons.
More importantly, Baby Croc is the OC for the coming Karoke at Amada Hotel to be held on the 22nd Nov in Room 1. Members have been strongly advised to participate and this is the only time all can fellowship together. Finally, lots of food and beer were served at site with the delicious mushroom prepared and cooked by the hare was indeed a very special dish done. Party ended at 11 pm and some stayed back till midnight and all got home safely
