The Run:
Prostituted area with more than 10 chapters running here almost every other week but wonderful weather and surely with the prerogative of the hare for picking this run site ,therefore no second thought of questioning about it. Anyway, sharp at 6 pm , ON! ON!, usual in trail towards the left, leading us to the palm oil estate. Lovely, nicely lay out trail for about 15 mins walking and warming up , arrived at the 1st check point. It was a st forward check broken by the FR. It was to early for the old timer bastards to take a short cut and instead another round of walking and jogging alone the trail arrived at 2nd check pt. It was a back check and almost everyone got together ,except the slowest runners could not catch up.
As the trail got tougher and steeper ,once again we were separated into 4 or 5 different groups. Almost close to an hr of trashing along the palm oil estate ,moving up and down hill, we arrived at the 3rd check, It was exactly 6. 55 pm almost dawn for this 2nd half of the year, FR runners were looking for forward papers but couldn’t locate it. All of the sudden, it was a back check and immediately followed by a falsie leading us almost to Puncak Alam . It was a long and tiring one , we were all f…… by the hare. We then turned our steering back ,slowly and steadily crawling back like a snail on paper .
As we continued out journey , out of no way , we were dragged into the final part of the trail moving into some new trail , bashing thru secondary jungle with torn and branches scattered around everywhere hurting most of us especially the ladies.However, with the hash spirit, nobody cared and all were caught for crawling and squeezing thru these branches / torn and some yelled for pain when caught in between the torn as if that their balls were hit by the baseball. By the time we went thru this struggled , our tension was released .Immediately arrived at the last check and FR broke it and sufficient papers were lay out for the back runners to follow thru . Home trail was nothing less than 2 Km along the palm oil estate and finally diverted us back to the water tank . Thank God , it was home. Say KGB. Finally, the 1st batch was out at 7 40 and last batch was arrived at the beer wagon at quarter to nine. Even though the run was set slightly longer than a normal run , nevertheless all had a wonderful and enjoyable moment and most importantly was that members were so co- operative in helping one another out especially thru the some thick and secondary jungles. All really had a good sweat out and at least not less than 800-1000 calories were burnt out. .
Circle:
started at 9 00 pm a little later than expected with GM on the box with some announcements particularly with regards to Mt KK . A show of hands from the members confirmed that we’ll definitely be organizing a trip there headed by GM and GB. Of course, the club pays for half the expenses for those who quality to go base on characters and attendance effective next week. Who knows if you qualify ? Therefore ,kindly be presence for every run effective today . Yak (the man with golden words) , Silent Gorilla( soon the name will be changed to noisy Gorilla) and Ex- member Eric the Prick( will soon be called Erik The Small Dick) were iced for no specific reasons. GB took over the box and running out of ideas appointed Lord Murugan to become the mystery whip and telling his great grand father stories which created lots of laughing for the audience. Circle ended at 10 pm with a big thank you to the hare for providing sufficient food and chilled beers were served at run site. It was indeed a great pleasure for the hare together with her team to make this a memorable event for another pleasant Tuesday. Party ended at mid night and all drove home safely with a peace of mind but piss off with the beer.
