The Run:
New run site at Sri Kembangan located with in the territory of UPM . It was Tuesday
and Hari Raya eve , traffic at city of KL was almost clear except some crazy bastards like us stayed back to come for this run. Most turned-up earlier than expected , Hash signs directing us were excellence . There were closed to 50 people and at least not less than 6 guests present due to the Raya’s mood. Sharp at 6 pm On On called and of we went in to new and fresh trails leading us to slight down hill moving across a narrow stream.All were excited about the new trail.
Just about closed to 10 mins warming up , arrived at 1st check , nothing but a back check ,paper was found by the back runners and once again FR has to catch up with us. As we got deeper into the tougher terrain up and down hill, most were excited about the run as to see what comes ahead. It was a totally new trail that none of us has any experiences on this run site except some senior bastards like Popeye , HiLo ,GM others who have been hashing bet 10-15 years or more .
Arrived at the 2nd check point, FRB were screwed up was a back check again. Paper was found by BR and of we went. Just with in a couple of mins of trashing, came a circular check , it was a long and tough one, most were caught and worse still even Stumpy was trapped in to this. The hare was really clever enough not just to f…. the FRB but the SR as well. Reason, not known…..
Immediately follow by a falsie ,leading us to the other side of the world. Once again, FR was caught. Clever of the hare who set such a wonderful trail to bring all together .
It was exactly 6 .55 pm , journey continued without anyone taking short cut all the way through ,obviously it was all new trail and new environment. Slow and steady all moved together. Came another check right at the top of the hill, wonderful scenery over looking the entire KL, most spent at least 10 mins admiring the beauty of KL covering with greenery and some tall buildings like KL tower and twin tower. Not less than 15 persons gathered here to admire ,chat-chitting and enjoyed the cool breezing of the air at the top close to 300- 400m. Of course, Under Power who tried to out smart all of us decided to take another route home without following us got himself f….. but managed to come out by himself.
Eventually ,paper was found and nicely connected by the FR, all the way home and first batch arrived at the beer wagon at 7 30 and last batch at 8. 25pm.
It was indeed a very good run in spite of the so called open 4 wheel drive terrain . It was really a good sweat out for all the members including both FR and SR. At least 4 to 5 up hills which almost knock off some slow runners . It was brought to our attention that the hare used a motor bike for recee prior to setting the run which is against the Gasing rule. As a result of this he shall be on ice for the rest of the year for setting a bad example for others. Finally , all agreed that in times to come which is with in the next 1-2 years ,this place will be covered with buildings and houses with the current pace of the construction going on now. More importantly everyone did really enjoy the evening.
Circle:
We started at 9 00 pm GM on the box with some announcements particularly ,once again showing of his Mt KK cert which all agreed that it belongs to someone else. No way that he can make it to the top with his blotted beer stomach. Shit face was iced for getting a new interpretation on his new hash name as SEK FEI ( Cantonese- Flying)) . Of course he was asked to fly while hashing by one of his buddy from other chapters. GM was iced for making statement that he was the only person who can smoke during circle which was against the Gasing’s rule. Finally , circle ended at 10 pm and once again delicious Chinese food and beers were served at the near by Res located at Serdang’s Town .Party ended at mid night and all drove home safely. Once again , it was nice of the hare who has taken time and effort off to make this new run site a successful evening for all.
