The Run:
Borga located in the state of NS has always been a good place for hashers. Known as tough and tough by most hashers, it was Tuesday and I was excited about setting a run here because the last time I was here was a long ….time ago. If we recalled it was about a year ago.
As I arrived sharp at 5 pm to avoid the traffic congestion, some of us were already here chit-chatting and others were up at the temple praying for good fortune but most were gearing up and getting ready to take off.
In absence of GM and wildboar , Buzzar called ON ON at 6 pm of course without his Porn Porn in condolence of his mother-in –law who passed away a couple of days ago.. Close to 40 people , the in trail was little unusual because we normally move in from the right, but this time the hare took us to the left instead.
Slowly and moving steadily up hill ,about 100m arrived at the 1 st check pt. Was a st forward one, paper was found of we went . No one has any clue how to take any short cut, terrain got tougher and tougher , segregated into 3 or more groups . Continued to move up and down hill exactly like Hi and Lo . Everyone though this trail was easier compare with the other side of the terrain. But hare proved us wrong, arrived at the 2 check point. on an open huge area with a diameter of not less than 100 ft wide already bull dosed by the contractor ready to have houses built within the next one to two years time.
This was a tough check , most move forward , spend close to 15 mins , everyone was together but later paper was found by slow runners. On On of we went , more and more tougher terrains ahead , climbing uphill with inclination of 35 Deg angle and distance of not less than 200m.
Most struggle except some FRB bastards who were always strong and energetic disappear as fast as possible . Slowly and careful all managed to make it to the top. Came another check , all of us are f…… by the hare . Nobody has the bloody guys to look for paper anymore because we were all completely exhausted and tired including the FRB.
We spent about 15 mins looking for paper. Some enjoyed the wonderful scenery overlooking the entire greenery of KL .Others spent some time to take pictures .Some were chitchatting amongst themselves. What a nice environment! Say Yak!
Within mins paper was found , journey continued , this time the hare took us another round of hashing leading us into the toughest of all up hill terrain close to 50 deg inclination and zig zagging from left to right like a jig saw puzzle covering a distance of 300m , by the time we reached the top we were almost half dead but worse still Stumpy was dead but fortunately he was safe by our buddies KC and the gang who resuscitated him with some oxygen taken from the leaves to struck into his bloody mouth. Nevertheless they make it through .
Immediately at the top, pressure was released and home trail was all the way down hill with very nice track until we reached the tar road opposite the other side of the temple.
The first group arrived at 7 10 pm and last out at 7 35 pm. It was a wonderful run which took about 1 to 1 half hour which all thought were really good. Lots of sweating out and releasing tension after a hard day of work. According to many , in times to come with in the next 12 months to 24 months , we will never have a chance to be back here again simply for the fact that new undergoing housing project will be taken over.
Circle:
started at 8.10pm by Buzzard on the box with some announcements in absence of GM. Buzzard suggested that a new committee members was formed and the old one has been sacked in absence of the GM who had taken his silly time and money wasting journey to Mt KK which he doesn’t deserve at all. The run rating was conducted by Khoo . A couple of guys were put on iced for various reasons. The circle was conducted within the vicinity of noisy Karoke Restaurant ,which only lasted for 30 mins. According to the JM , this was the shortest circle ever conducted in the chapter .Of course , sumptuous and delicious food and lots of chilled beer all night long were served by the hare at the nearby restaurant .Our actors and actress for the night were our Karoke Queen & King no other than Campari, Lambo ,Lucky Cock , BMM and others. With their lovely ,lively and wonderful voices and the songs sang really captured the attention not only for our members but other audiences as well.
Finally , some very good words from the hare was that everyone has to be careful on the road when driving home after some alcoholic drink .It ‘s a long way home. It was indeed nice of the hare who has taken all his time and efforts to really make this a very special and memorable event held at this Borga Run site for all .Only god knows when are we coming back here again. Party ended at 11 30 pm and all drove him safely.
