THE RUN :
Like everyone else, the moment i got to know my own hare que is coming up, that was the moment my mind started to prepare for it, not as serious as preparing for my own work, but it is still “hash work” after all, hashing is part of our routine in life, indicating hashers who has spent more than 5 years in hashing !!!
When my sleeping partner, Warlord, targeted Bukit Subang as venue for the run, I was glad, thinking it should be “no sweat” for everyone. As part of the team, my co co hares are the girls from charlie’s angels and a prince charming. Appreciate their time and effort. Thank you so much!!
I reached the run site , 50 minutes before the ON call, I was happy to see most of the members managed to turn up for my run. GM was questioning me earlier, whether it could be a tough long run or short easy run?? Presumably, bukit subang is just a oil palm estate, where else can Warlord find a hill too tough to climb?? What he did was, he made an announcement, announced to the floor that he will surely complete this run, to the surprise of many of us, but I was happier. !?
As I was getting ready to lay out most of the finger food ( gladly prepared by yours truly). Co Co hares were approaching near the beer wagon, looking tired but not exhausted, according to warlord when asked about the trail, the ansver was …”easy lah!”
Front runner came in after one hour 30 minutes, the rest mostly being seen walking out before 8pm. In between time , busy serving food , I was anxiously waiting for the rest of the members, especially GM, whom finally walked out around 8:20pm, cursing and swearing of course, he uttered… got hill, got hill !! It is GH5’s honour, as Piss Stop has finally managed to complete the run… or “ a run” ?? big hand, big hand.
I was unable to talk about the running trail, the terrain of this journey, for I was not able to join my co co hares, but deep down inside, I knew… Warlord will do a good job on my behalf.
I was glad that most of you like the pasar malam’s food (as someone quoted), served you more snacks before a lighter dinner (without rice), that was my plan. Hope you all don’t mind .

Circle was interesting as usual, being conducted by GM, buzzard and others… to my surprise , I have got a run rating of 9.5 given by chilli padi’s son, whom as a young boy commented on the run, ended with “divine intervention”, a vocabulary so deep, in which I doubt most of us can fully understand …. Spiritually!!
To end the final paragraph, I wish to thank everyone for their time and fellowship, for each and every other weeks to come. In order to understand the spirit of hashing,…… Is to understand the meaning of caring, sharing, cooperating and lots of happiness!!
