The Run :
For sometime we haven’t had a run site here , our memorable and prestigious home ground since the inception of our Gasing’s chapter one decade ago. It has been a great pleasure to see not less than 80 people who took their time of and effort to gather at the usual car park with ample space to honor this exciting run .
Usual calling ON ON by the GM sharp at 6pm followed by the Roti’s man porn-porn from Wild Boar initiated the stating of the run ,all walking toward the back lane of the residences house of Tmn PJ for not less than 15 mins.
First came, the up hill slope of more than 25 deg angle, half way through arrived at the 1st check , as expected FRB were there searching for papers and eventually paper was found and led us all the way up to the top.
At the beginning all were energetic with tons of energy climbing up the hill without and obstacles including our GM ,as we progressed further into the usual terrain moving up and down slope for half an hour , 3 or 4 groups were separated because of the fact that most if not all were out of stream.
Nevertheless, we arrived at the 2nd checked , again the 1st batch of the fast runner broke the check and of they went and those who left behind decided to call it quit and took the short way home.
Journey continued and getting tougher and tougher ,all moved from E to W and occasionally N to S as if that we were moving backward and forward like a jig saw puzzle not knowing exactly where we were because some of the papers were picked up by other bastards. We will not sure who it was but suspected it was another chapter .F…K these bastards , no good sense of hashing. Fortunately , some of our fellow hashers who were kind and considerate for others managed to connect the papers for the back/slow runners. This was indeed a very good example of good hashing, running as a team rather than individual. We do hope others will follow so.
Of we went again , up and down slope trying to locate the home trail and suddenly came the 3rd checked and this time it was only left with 3 or 4 bastards in front. They broke it and paper was connected but instead of getting our way out to the main tar road, but instead the hare decided to take us for another ride another tough hill ahead all the way up to the Telecom’s tower which almost screw-up the back runners. It was really a torturing climb for the exhausted runners b4 heading the home trail.
Finally, every one returned to the beer’s wagon with full satisfaction and the 1st group out at 7. 10 and the last group out at 8.00 pm
Circle :
For such a long time we haven’t had a crowd of more than 80 peoples ,therefore circle started a bit later than expected at 9.15pm, GM on the box with his usual hoo …. Haa… …Let peace ALWAYS be upon you! welcoming new and old guests of about 25 of them. Many were put on ice for various offences. Lord and his room mate were iced by Buzzard for being first person who brought motorbike for hashing in spite of stern warning by the members that they will smash into a bloody coffee shop after a couple of beers. Specially selected charming new female guest was interviewed by Roger who didn’t know exactly what to ask but instead the interview went the other way round. Circle ended at 10 pm and sumptuous food and plenty of beer including bottle of whisky and stout were served at the nearby restaurant. The party lasted till mid-night and everyone drove home safely.
It was nice of the hare who made this a wonderful and memorable event for all.
