The Run :
It was a wonderful day and the run site was at Taman Tun. Some of our member arrived as early as sharp 5.15pm. There were ambled parking space at the car park, Right sharp at 6 pm , ON ON was called by GM, we entered the trail and what we saw were trees. Slowly and steadily we walked up and followed papers through and along the trail for almost 15 mins up hill and we found the fist check point. As usual , front runner were eagerly looking for papers and the rest of the member started to talk with regards to petrol, food ,bus fares prices increase, inflation is up eating up all our money . In addition , no other than Silent Gorilla said “ Pak Lah is really no F…. use” he should be sacked ) Immediately the check was broken ON ON was called and we continued on papers. Approximately close to 25 minutes, we came to 2nd checked, with in less than 10 minutes, the check was broken and we continued on the terrain and was getting tougher and tougher and came the 3rd checked. It was that far that we ended up at our usual Pencala Link site, smart enough for the FRB who were familiar with the trail knew that was the way home and immediately check was broken and was a long and tough way home running back from PC to our car park. It was 7.00pm, paper was connected accordingly and giving the SRB the most challenging times moving up hill for close to 300m non stop. At mid way up the hill, I found myself struggling to climb l (“pancit”), thank god , I met up with my old buddy hardcore (the mastermind who took me a shortcut ). Most of the members followed so and it was the easiest and simplest way to get back to the beer station wagon..
Overall, it was a challenging run, at least more than 3 long and steep hills and the hare decided to try on many new bashed through terrains which made it very interesting and exciting run for all of us. It was the best run I ever had after a long period of time.1st runner came at 7.20 and last group out at 8.10 pm
I am looking forward for another more adventures and even more challenging runs in the near future. God knows may be next week!
Circle :
Circle started at 9.00pm, as usual, GM on the box with some announcement and jokes. The run was commented by James (Yakitiyak’s brother), the run was awarded with 8 points. (Good parking, delicious chicken rice cooked by Amanda, run site was well lighted, good hash sign and the best is Heinekens beer served.). The champion for the week of the “ice ice baby” was not other than “Tan Sri”. Overall, most of the members have a wonderful evening and everyone did enjoyed themselves. Thanks to the hare “Mr. World”. Of course Warlord briefed us on the recently visited Fraser’s Do which turned out to be the most enjoyable and happiest moment we all had together in our precious moment. Stumpy has appointed to be the next OC for another outing event soon to come .some where in last Q of the year. ON ON!
