The Run :
It was an exciting run site for most of us as we have never been here before. As far as Gasing is concerned ,this is the 1st run site for 1st week of the Ox’s year. As we arrived we were all confused as to where exactly we shall parked our cars. For the 1st time in history that we have to pay a dollar to get into the proper gazetted area surrounded by greenery but run by the M……. people.
On at 6.03 pm , of we went in trail but rather ended up in the home trail instead. Obviously, paper was disconnected , because was a home trail .FRB together with the team reversed and tried to locate the in trail paper . Within sec paper was found ,of we went again and for close to 600 m walking and jogging, arrived at the 1st check with only 4 papers. Reasons ,god knows!.
Spent close to 30 mins looking for papers, forward and backward check , no way paper was found but instead, a whole bunch of fools ( 10 pupils) ended up having durian offered by the locals instead of looking for papers .
FRB were searching Hi and Lo for papers but failed.
By 6. 40 pm, all were scattered around , nobody seemed to know exactly where the paper was. Finally, all ended up having no run but running on our own.
Worse still, James Bonk and Peter lost their way but ended up nowhere but later picked up nearby by the hare.
Circle:
started at 9 pm with 50 persons. Special announcement for coming AGM meeting to be held at Gasing Bird park on the 10th Feb in conjunction with CNY run. All members are encouraged to come and participate. Hare was iced for 2 reasons , first being too brave to set a run all by himself which was strongly not recommended by us , secondly nobody completed the run on paper. As a result of this the hare was on iced again .
GB took over to appoint his two five boy Lambo who put Silent Gorilla on ice for not putting his attires on during the Annual Dinner. Hoo …. Haa….. ended at 10 pm and food and beers were served at run site and a big thank to the hare who has taken his precious time to made this a memorable run ie running without paper..
