THE RUN :
This is a Good Bye 08 Run with a dark cloud in the sky and ON! ON! called by
GM @ sharp 6pm, close to 60 members start the run by the easy in trial along the tar road uphill to the Gasing Temple. 1st easy falsie on the slope and ON! ON! Was called in just a minute. Run continue to the top of the temple and going down hill via the side of Telekom tower.
Left turn to the jungle trial and continue down hill, turning to the left to a virgin forest and continue down hill all the way till the stream, here is where the challenge start “to escape from the thorns”. Running a long the stream where make most of the runner wet on the shoe and “Checking” was called, another easy forward check just around 80 steps along the stream. Continue running along the stream for almost 200 Meters and runners need to climb out from the bushes.
Checking called again and the 1st runner break the check in a minute time and continue climb up the virgin forest till the summit of Gasing Hill.
A challenging down hill home trial slow down runner time back to the base. 1st runner was time 1hr 05 minutes (Mr. Ben) and the last runner did approx 1hr 40 minutes due to too much talking. Wild Boar back with a thumps up and say easy
run but tough. All runners enjoy movie clip and photo slide from our Gasing Annual dinner while having refreshment.

GM on the box at 8.30pm with the announcement of the next week run in FRIM by “Spotted Dog”. A special welcome to our 1st time guest “Stick It To Me” & “Wake Me Up B4 U Go Go” all the way from Japan. Our lecherous GM pull out a bag of condoms from his pocket and pass the condom to out 1st time lady guests. GM show off his “Maylish” by spending most of the air time to proof that he can speak a good English is from of the guest. Late dinner @ 9.30pm was served in the restaurant opposite with a “Yee Sang” as a starter.
