The Run:
Another usual and clean run site located at popular Tmn Tun area. A crowd of 60 pupils turned out to honor our long lost hare who disappeared for more than a year .However he managed to get it going for us. What a pleasure ! Nothing right at 6 pm , ON! ON! , run started as usual up hill for 100 m along the tar road immediately leading us to the in trail located at far left of the wet bushes. No other than talkative Silent Gorila making one hell of noise telling his stories to Yak, we then arrived at the 1st check pt. Obviously ,was a forward check and FR broke it and paper was lay accordingly .
As the rain got , heavier and heavier , the trail was so slippery and most slid down like a yoyo for every two or more steps they moved along the trail.
Out of no way, it appeared to us two bastards ,Old man , Phang Joe and Really Cocky tried to out smart themselves , took the short cut but ended up longer than expected.
Arrived at the 2nd check point, was a back check and FR was screwed and BR broke the check . All knew , the only way to get a reasonable long run was to take us to Penchala Link. True enough , all were brought to PL ended up at our familiar usual parking site obviously , came the 3rd check and kind enough of the hare with his Porsche waited for us to distribute H2O for us right at the check point.
After quenching our thirst, the most challenging task was to climb up the toughest 300 m up hill of 35 deg slope which separated us in many different groups . Just as we reached the top, followed by down hill of another 100m ravine ,came the 4th check , FR Lucky Cock, Tau Chong Sio , B Monkey were almost dropped dead when they found out that it was a back check and a falsie. ON Back shouted Yak. By the time they caught up with the rest ,it was completely dark and was a long way home before we hit the usual tar road which was approximately 1.5 km down hill until we reached the home site.. The 1st runner out at 7.40 pm and last batch out at 8.45 pm. Although the run was a little longer than expected, nevertheless all had a wonderful time.
Circle:
started at 9. 00 pm with the announcement that Committee has decided to take part at the Genting Highland run organized by Hash Heritage Foundation. Cocky was iced for not only taking short-cut but worse still tried to influence the rest of the team particularly the FR. GB took over and mentioned that they had a wonderful time last week at their Karoake session in Amada Hotel. All were told to support the next OC by B Croc.(Riches in Klang) . The Annual Dinner and Dance to be held at RSC on Dec 27 for members who are coming will have to pay a fee of RM 50 if they have not done any pledges. For non member a fee of RM 100.00 will be imposed. OC ( Yak ) has promised that it will definitely be a second to none party inviting all members to participate and come together as one friendly family. Finally ,fun/jokes ended at 10 30 and food /beers were served at the nearby Grand View Res. What a lovely night to be ,releasing all tension from a hard day work. Nice of the hare to make this a memorable evening for us.
