Quite a nice and familiar run site for us to gather here again on this wonderful Tuesday day with close to 70 people. As I arrived just 5 mins pasted 5 pm, there were more than 15 cars already parked along our usual tar road. Some were telling stories and others were gearing for their hash attires. By quarter to 6 , all were already geared up with their attires ready to take-off their journey into the terrain. When the horn was blown right at the dot, everyone was walking slowly and steadily , relaxing and warming up along the road for approx 5 mins. As we reached the other end ,as usual we got into the usual palm oil trail, slowly uphill and we reached the top. Came the 1st check, FRB were searching for paper everwhere .And close to 20 mins nobody has any clued where exactly the paper was. But instead it was a back check and back runner found the paper .
Off we went, the trail took us deeper into the palm oil estates and we arrived at the second check . All were scatted around some were waiting for the next paper and others were chit chatting while the FRB were searching for papers. This time FRB broke the check and all moved on .After walking and trashing for close to 40 mins within the palm oil field, right at the dot at 6. 40 pm, the hare decided to take us into the tougher terrain batching through jungle. As we stepped in we moved up hill for appr 100 m and immediately down hill again crossing and moving across a couple of tough hills. As the terrain got tougher and tougher , although all were on paper ,there was no check all and dawn was coming. Sufficient paper for back and fore runners to trash themselves.
All thought that hare was trying to cut it short for us to take us home, but instead she took us for another ride again. Moving from hill top to bottom , right further deeper into the some ravine which was almost close to dead end. Nobody has any clued where we were because it was new trails and the only way out was to follow paper. No check whatsoever we were moving zig- zag all over above and across hills to hills. At some point most thought that the hare must have lost their way leading us back and forth, up and down as if there was no home trail. Suddenly our Lucky Cock had a problem with his stomach wanted to look for toilet to pass motion but no way to be located .We spent almost close to an hour in the jungle moving around the tough and new challenging terrain and many ran out of liquid and steam .Furthermore most were completely exhausted and 1st batch returned to the beer wagon at 8 15 pm and last arrived at 9 pm.
Last but not least , the hero for this week was MK Lim ( Left ball) and his sleeping partner absence for 3 months returned at 9 45pm to the wagon wanted nothing but drinks only and look completely half dead . Of course the couple made it through without and rescue . Overall it was a damn good run for most of us except some slower ones who struggle a little but nevertheless they made it through as well. According the master mind , it was close to a distance of 10 km hard trashing which was really a good sweat for all..
Circle :
Circle started a little later than expected 10 pm with a crowd of closed to 60 people. GM started off for putting Yak on ice in a very fashionable way . Instead of sitting this time , it was the reverse way by hugging it..
Subsequently follow up Song Bird and others on iced for various offences. .
Four new guests were interviewed by lovely couple our Grand Ma( Porn queen) and Grand Pa( hardcore) which brought about very humorous jokes for everyone.
An old guest from other chapter who hasn’t shown any respect for others including the GM was given a stern warning not to be present at all because of the misconduct in his behaviour and character ..It was indeed a shame for all of us to have such a misconduct character person around during the circle. Therefore in future, Committee has reminder all GH members , do not invite such/any friends/guests/persons to our chapter as we are all nice and adult working class of people. Gasing is a lovely chapter for all not for fools to fool us around.Circle ended at 11 pm and plenty of food and chilled beers were served . Finally, a big thank to the hare who has taken her time and efforts to made this an enjoyable and memorable run
