Everyone waited for today to come for this Wonderful Freedom run located at our usual prostituted area with ample parking’s space as well as for party. Lovely weather with an average temperature of close to 30 deg C. As we arrived at the run site at 5 pm ,there were once again more than 15 cars already parked at the proper parking bay. And this time the earliest bird was Yak ,he took his time off early to make very sure he be there as early as possible to honor this prestigious freedom run held once a year. Just closed to half past 5, there will no less than 40 cars parked along the road side most were with their hashing gear ready.
None other than sharp at 6 pm Wild Boar Porn Porn , off we went toward our usual in trail right across the huge water tank toward the left. Slowly and steady we moved uphill for about 5 mins just to warm ourselves up. Immediately follow through the terrain in to the jungle. All the way till we arrived at the 1stcheck. Surprisingly there were no FRB to break the check but instead it took so called middle/slow runners to break it but off course it took them longer than expected.
As the terrain got tougher and tougher, most of the SRB were exhausted and FRB caught up and eventually we arrived at the 2nd check pt. But rather we all were scatted around looking for paper, instead it was a back check. Everyone was together and clever of the hare to group all of as one team. Run continued moving almost all into the new terrain batching through secondary jungle without getting hurt. And finally we arrived at the 3rd check pt. It was exactly 6 40 pm and FRB were once again hunting for paper and no way paper was found. And it was a back check again. Paper was found by back runners and ON ON was called and off we went. More challenging terrain was ahead of us and without any hesitation all moved on, no body has the gut to take any short cut because they were simply not familiar with the new trail. Finally we hit the last check and paper was found and was a long way home thru the palm oil estate .Nonetheless the 1st batch arrived before dawn at 7 10 pm and last batch came out at 8 pm.
Overall it was a good do with lots of up and down hills as well as some new trails. Everyone did enjoy it very much and covered a distance close to 6 km of hard hashing.
Circle :
Started at 9 pm . Closed to 80 people gathered together with at least not less than 6 guests and one new ones. GM started of with his usual welcoming all of us after an exciting and wonderful run after hard day of work.
On Sec took over the box to brief about the coming of the annual dinner to be held in DEC and advises and encourages everyone should participate. He also promised that it will be a second to none sort of event with lots of funs and jokes for all members. A list of pledges and contributors from the members toward this event is listed below. On Sec also advises that all members should one way or the other try to contribute for this annual dinner event.
GB took over the box with his conversation and his innovative and creative ideas for the continuation on the last part of the Olympic events creating lots of humorous jokes for the audience.
Finally, circle ended at 10 pm and food and beer were served on site with sumptuous Lok Lok and plenty of chilled beer for all as well as for the rest of the evening. Party ended at 12 am and all got home safely. Once again, it was nice of the hare as an OC for this freedom run who had taken most of his time and effort to make this such a memorable day for all members.
